The adapter body is made of nickel-plated brass. The optical connector ferrules are mated by a precision alignment sleeve made of zirconia ceramics. The connectors are secured through an 8 mm diameter threaded connection. On the connecting parts of the adapter body, there are grooves for the connector terminal keys. The adapter is fastened on the adapter plate with a lock washer and 9.0 mm nut. The edge of the adapter holding diameter threaded part is chamfered in the shape of the letter D.
Green plastic caps to protect the adapters from dust before the installation of connectors are included.
