The QSFP-100G-AX-XX is a 4-channel, pluggable, parallel, fiber optic QSFP28 transceiver for 100G Ethernet applications. The QSFP28 full-duplex optical module provides four independent transmit and receive channels, each capable of operating at 25.78125 Gbps, using single-mode fiber for a total data rate of 103.125 Gbps.
The module uses a four-channel 850nm VCSEL array, PIN array, amplifier and driver for compact size, low power consumption and low cost. Each channel can operate at 10Gbps. The AOC complies with the industry standard SFF-8436 QSFP + transceiver specification. The electrical interface uses a 38 contact edge type connector. The optical interface uses an 8 or 12 fiber MTP (MPO) connector. The QSFP-100G-AX-XX transceiver features small size, parallel multi-channel, hot swap, low power and high speed operation. It is ideal for high speed short range density data connections such as 100G BASE-SR4, InfiniBand QDR, switches and routing interconnects.
